We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves assisting customers, managing sales transactions, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience. Previous experience in grocery stores or retail settings is a plus, along with bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers effectively.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Supervise or assist in supervising other team members as needed Support promotional activities and product demonstrations to enhance sales Apply retail math skills to manage sales targets and inventory levels effectively

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales and inventory management Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos Upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base effectively Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team Good phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors Basic math skills for daily retail operations in a grocery store or similar environment
