Job Summary

Our Assistant Manager position is a Full-Time position.

As an Assistant Manager you will work independently on the property, working both indoors and outside managing the daily office tasks, retail sales, and maintaining the facility.

General Accountabilities

Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the storage facility and site. Assist in scheduling, training, and maintaining staffing at the facility. Develop customer relationships by identifying their storage needs and providing solutions. Achieve sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements. Handle credit card receipts, pursue collections, post payments. Works with property manager to ensure curb appeal and property appearance meets standards. Keep surfaces and high-touch areas clean; including sweeping, mopping, debris removal, and wiping windows. Inspects all vacant storage suites to ensure readiness for prospective tenants. Work independently on daily tasks as well as coordinating with team members Maintain and audit inventory. Meet and/or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Identify and communicate facility issues with the facility manager for correction Prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork. Supports overall marketing efforts and offers input and suggestions in regard to promotions and advertisements. Obtains merchandise requested by customer. Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise. Totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customer to determine bill. Ability to life up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned.
