Job Summary

The Business Development Supervisor supports the company's non-Japanese and non-travel business initiatives through daily operational leadership and execution. This role oversees retail operations at the Sheraton Waikiki and Ala Moana Center shops, ensuring sales and profit goals are met while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities include staff supervision, budget management, inventory oversight, and buyer functions such as product selection, purchasing, and pricing.

Essential Duties

Execute strategic plans for LeaLea Market Originals and related business lines. Oversee daily shop operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Monitor and adjust inventory levels as needed. Prepare and present sales results and forecasts to management. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to sales associates. Plan and execute shop promotions and ensure quality SNS content and posting. Manage shop budgets and ensure achievement of sales and profit targets. Perform buyer duties, including purchasing planning, product selection, pricing, and vendor coordination. Develop inventory replenishment plans and ensure accuracy across all locations. Analyze sales trends, inventory data, and customer behavior to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements. Oversee staff scheduling, performance management, and daily supervision.

Qualifications

Demonstrates strong initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently. Ability to provide clear direction and motivates team members. Build positive and professional relationships with customers, staff, and vendors. Strong problem-solving and creative-thinking abilities. Able to understand merchandising principles and interpret sales or inventory trends. Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Proficient with basic math and able to work accurately with U.S. currency, weights, and measurements.

Pay: $23.24 - $34.00 per hour
