About the Role
We're seeking a driven and hands-on
Operations Manager
to lead our construction materials storefront and warehouse operations. This is a key leadership role focused on improving efficiency, strengthening team performance, and driving overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day retail and warehouse operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance
Develop and refine operational processes to improve productivity, inventory control, and customer satisfaction
Prepare accurate customer quotes and coordinate in-store and phone sales to drive revenue and customer satisfaction
Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and foster a culture of accountability
Monitor key performance metrics (sales, margins, customer satisfaction) and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with sales and marketing to support promotions, events, and customer outreach initiatives
Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely procurement of materials
Implement safety, compliance, and loss prevention programs in accordance with company policies
Play a leading role in shaping company strategy, driving continuous improvement, and supporting long-term growth
Requirements
5+ years of experience in retail, operations, or branch management -- preferably within construction materials, building supply, or industrial distribution
Proven ability to lead teams and manage daily operations effectively
Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing performance metrics
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of construction materials, warehouse operations, and inventory management
Proficiency in POS and inventory management systems
Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred
