Position Overview

This role is a

retail-based sales and marketing position

working directly inside

big-box retail partner locations

in the Hinsdale area. You'll be representing well-known consumer brands, speaking with shoppers, and helping generate new customer sign-ups. This is a

fast-paced, on-your-feet role

where success is measured by how many qualified leads or completed sales you generate each week.

A Typical Day in the Role

Arrive at your assigned retail store location on time and in professional attire. Set up your

marketing station/table or promotional booth

with client-approved materials. Spend your 8-hour shift

approaching shoppers

, introducing yourself, and explaining current promotions. Ask qualifying questions, collect customer information, and

walk them through the enrollment or purchase process

. Meet a

daily sales/lead quota

-- this could mean securing anywhere from 5-15 leads or 2-6 sales depending on the campaign. Input all customer information into the company's digital system before the end of your shift. Communicate with your team lead/manager about what worked, what didn't, and where improvements can be made.
Schedule Requirements

Full-time availability:

40-42 hours per week

Must be able to work

1 weekend day minimum (Saturday or Sunday)

Must be able to commit to

3 weekdays minimum (Monday-Friday)

Retail shifts run in

8-hour blocks

: Morning shifts usually start at

7:30 AM or 10:30 AM

Afternoon shifts usually end between

5:00 PM and 7:00 PM

Requirements to Be Considered

Must be at least

18 years old

and authorized to work in the U.S. Must have

reliable transportation

to retail store locations in and around Hinsdale. Must be comfortable standing and walking for an 8-hour retail shift. Must be able to

lift and carry up to 25 pounds

(setting up displays, carrying promo materials). Must be professional, approachable, and confident starting conversations with strangers. Previous

sales, customer service, retail, or lead generation experience

is a plus, but not required.
