DESCRIPTION

The

Retail & Events Associate

will provide support in the retail area of the

NCM Motorsports Park (MSP)

, including customer service, stocking, cashiering, and light cleaning. In addition, this position will provide support during various events at the Motorsport's Park, including Twinkle at the Track.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and acknowledge every guest as they enter and exit the Motorsports Park. Assist in keeping retail area clean and stocked. Take payment in person through a POS system. Assist customers in person and over the phone with issues or concerns, escalating issues as appropriate. Assist customers, both in person and over the phone, with selecting, scheduling, paying for, and modifying experiences. Provide hands-on support with various events at the Motorsports Park including event set-up, and being a friendly face for guests. Provide assistance to other departments at the Motorsports Park, proactively identifying areas where help is needed. Responsibilities are not all-inclusive, additional duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred and/or working events, preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately. Ability to read and perform basic math skills. Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service in person and over the phone. Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and unquestioned personal and professional integrity. High level of commitment to team and company values. Strong attention to detail, establishing priorities, and following instructions. Valid state driver's license required.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in differing weather conditions. Must have sufficient mobility to regularly stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the MSP. Ability to lift and carry 30+ lbs. and push/pull 50+ lbs.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
