We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Retail Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up donations from our retail partners and donors while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate a truck with a trailer. Responsibilities

Safely operate a truck or similar vehicle for deliveries and pickups. Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage and safe food handling procedures to ensure proper temperature control. Navigate designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients and recipients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading areas. Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries, including logs and invoices.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Must have a valid drivers license with no infractions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly throughout the day. Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills is essential.
