SUMMARY

A Retail Associate is responsible for assisting guests as they shop in our boutiques.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcoming and engaging with guests as they enter the store Assessing guests needs Working with cash registers and processing payments Attaining sales goals Communicating about sales and promotions Using upselling techniques to increase store sales Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Knowledge of Shopify - training to be provided Desire to drive revenue to Knowledge of Resort Suite - training to be provided Basic math skills Ability to use a cash register Possess a strong level of professionalism while at work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Approaches challenging guest interactions with calm presence, empathy, and thoughtful communication. Previous Retail experience preferred

Education and Experience:

High School Education 1 Year Retail Experience preferred

Language Skills:

Speak with guests over the phone Write descriptions for all online merchandise Enclose written instructions regarding returns

Mathematical Skills:

Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Calculate retail mark-up percentages

Reasoning Ability:

Able to accurately check inventory levels Able to work retail sales floors Accurately enter information for merchandise

Primarily work on retail sales floor
