We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The Retail Assistant Manager will support store management in daily activities, oversee staff performance, and contribute to strategic planning for store growth. Responsibilities



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service. Supervise and motivate staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Manage employee orientation, training & development, and scheduling to optimize team productivity. Handle recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and payroll processing for store personnel. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Ensure accurate cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering procedures are followed. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost sales and store visibility. Monitor sales performance using retail math and sales management techniques; analyze data to inform decision-making. Maintain organized records of bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks related to store operations. Enforce store policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards. Support shift management duties including opening/closing procedures and shift scheduling.

Skills



Proven management experience in retail settings with supervisory responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math calculations. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs. Customer service-oriented with exceptional phone etiquette and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management. Knowledge of retail sales techniques including marketing strategies and promotional planning. Familiarity with wireless sales or store operations is advantageous. Pay: $26,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
