We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Train and develop staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Handle cash management and ensure accurate POS transactions using Aloha or Micros systems.
Oversee food handling practices to comply with health and safety regulations.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant performance.
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance the dining experience.
Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment and fostering teamwork.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and fine dining experience preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
Knowledge of inventory control, cash handling, and budgeting principles.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
Experience in hospitality management, culinary arts, or related fields is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
