ReStore Associate

Position Purpose:

The Habitat ReStore is a place to shop, donate, and support Habitat for Humanity's work to help local families build safe and affordable homes. As a ReStore Associate, you will help with many parts of the store, including greeting customers, cashiering, pricing and stocking items, keeping the store clean, and helping donors and volunteers. Every day, your work will make a difference in the community.

Main Duties:

Be a positive representative of Habitat while working with customers, donors, and volunteers Receive donations, check them, price them, and place items on the sales floor Keep the store safe and clean Provide good customer service to shoppers, donors, and volunteers Help customers load their purchases and unload donated items Lift and move items up to 50 pounds Do other tasks as needed to support the store

Requirements:

Support and understand Habitat's mission Friendly, reliable, and good with people Able to solve problems and work in a busy environment Pay attention to details and able to work independently Team player with a positive attitude Retail experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands:

This job requires lifting up to 50 pounds often and regular bending, squatting, and moving items.
