Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in education or equivalent. LBS1 endorsement preferred by not required.
Certification:
None required.

:

Experience
:
At least 2 years working with high-risk children and adolescents preferred
Responsibilities and duties include (but are not limited to):
Learn and implement the RIS system in the office to maintain consistency with the other RIS offices.
Provide feedback on the behavior program to staff when needed.
Be an integral, dynamic member of the team of professionals during Team Meetings.
Follow all school policies, procedures and regulations.
Maintain school's safety plans and logs.
Entering data and tracking interventions used for each student.
Be certified in Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
Project a positive, professional image by openly communicating, problem-solving and disseminating information, and being responsive to the needs of students, families, colleagues, and senior staff.
Strive to improve leadership skills through self-initiated professional growth and development activities by utilizing information and insights gained in professional efforts for self-improvement.
Document and maintain availability to students in need of Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or other behavioral interventions.
Maintain availability to staff in need of support, assistance and consultation.
Develop, implement and frequently review IEP's and Behavior Management Plans (BIP) for students, and attend Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA) meetings for all students.
Facilitate in Peer Mediations for students.
Develop and maintain an awareness of: intellectual functioning, cognitive processing, educational achievement, adaptive behavior, social/emotional development, behavioral assessment, determination of learning processes and assessment of the student's most conducive learning environment.
Promptly and accurately submit all required paperwork and documents.
Participate in all staff meetings and in-service training sessions.
Perform any other duties as requested by the Connections' Senior Staff.

Pay: $44,325.00 - $54,407.00 per year
