Restaurant Team Member
Yogis Grill is looking to hire new Teriyaki Team members. This is someone who can be cross-trained to wear multiple hats... you will be a cook, cashier, and server. Your job duties will include:

Super fast and super friendly customer service. Enthusiastically greeting all customers when they walk in and when they leave Menu expert and cashier Line cook for grilled meats, stir-fried noodles, soups, salads and more Slicing vegetables, portioning, and other simple food prep Packaging to go orders Wiping down tables, other cleaning tasks Ability to keep busy without being asked Other duties as assigned
This role will require:

prior restaurant experience fast knife skills taking pride in beautiful presentation, high quality, and high standards of food safety being a friendly team player; have lots of fun, think ahead and multi-task to support other teammates being reliable and on-time or 10 minutes early to work open availability preferred, from 10AM to 10:30PM on weekdays and on weekends Prior sushi experience is a huge plus but not required
The pay:

We start at $17.50/hour if you show up on time
During the first five days, you will receive 1 on 1 training. The target is 90% completion of the training checklist, which includes passing the menu test, during the first five days You will get paid more as you learn more things and pass more skills test We also have openings for shift leads, which is higher pay and requires that you pass tests for the front of the house, back of the house, sushi, and people management (training is provided) Note: guaranteed pay of $17.50 only applies if you show up on time and do your job. If you are late or written up or quit without notice, then you'll forfeit your guaranteed tips of $2.80 per hour and you will be paid $14.70 per hour instead. It's just not fair to the other team members. We are actively hiring reliable, friendly team players! After 90 days, your pay including tips will be increased to $18/hour
