Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions with precision
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
Assist with food handling, storage, and preparation to ensure freshness and quality
Support quick service operations by managing order flow during busy periods with effective time management
Engage in basic math for cash handling, pricing accuracy, and inventory checks
Follow all health regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests
Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep or stocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
Experience in food preparation, bussing tables, or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory--training will be provided!
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
