Job Description
The DoubleTree by Hilton Charlotte City Center is excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Restaurant Supervisor. The Restaurant Supervisor manages daily operations, ensuring smooth service, high food quality, and customer satisfaction by leading staff (hiring, training, scheduling), overseeing inventory/ordering, handling complaints, enforcing health codes, and boosting profitability, balancing front-of-house guest experience with back-of-house efficiency
Responsibilities:
- Principles and processes for providing customer service, including needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Advanced knowledge of Point of Sale systems
- Food and beverage products, preparation, handling, service techniques, and other food and beverage standard operating procedures
- Health codes, food sanitation, and safety practices
- Ability to meet quality standards for service and cleanliness
- Make decisions guided by SOPs
- Analyze activities and information to arrive at logical conclusions and recommendations
- Communicate clearly and concisely
- Adapt to constantly changing situations to ensure quality service to all guests
- Successfully lead and motivate staff
- Prior experience in a restaurant supervising position. Upbeat personality. Guest-oriented approach
- Ability to train and motivate FOH staff
