Job Description

We are looking for line and prep cooks, bar tenders, servers and dishwashers to work in a well-established and respected upscale restaurant in the historic center of downtown Blue Hill, Maine. Full or part-time. All-year or seasonal. Competitive wages for all positions. Line and Prep Cook Responsibilities

• Follow guidance and instructions from Executive Chef
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the Executive Chef and the rest of the kitchen staff
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Bar Tender Responsibilities

• Prepare all beverages in full-service beer, wine and cocktail bar.
• Prepare all coffee and espresso beverages. (We will provide all training for espresso bar beverages.
• Serve food and beverage customers seated at the bar
• Maintain a positive and professional disposition with all customers and coworkers

Server Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Answer customer questions, present information on daily specials, take customer orders and note requests accurately.
• Deliver food in a timely manner.
• Collect and process customer payments, and prepare table for next customer.

Dishwasher Responsibilities

• Clean all dishware and cookware using commercial dish machine
• Place cleaned items in appropriate locations
• Follow instructions from Executive Chef

Desired Skills

• Prior experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate who is willing to learn.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Positive and friendly attitude is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:
