We are located right in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn at MetroTech Center. Between the office rush and the NYU Tandon crowd, this location never slows down. We need a Shift Manager who thrives in that energy. You won't be stuck in a back office; you'll be on the floor, leading the crew, and making sure every burger is perfect. If you have your NYC Food Protection Certificate and want a job accessible by almost every subway line (Jay St-MetroTech), we want to meet you.

What you'll be doing:

Team Leadership:

Support the GM by running the floor during peak hours and keeping the vibe positive.

Hands-On Operation:

This is a working management role. You'll jump on the grill, work the register, or drop fries whenever the team needs backup.

Quality Control:

Ensure every order meets Five Guys standards--hot, fresh, and accurate.

Sanitation & Safety:

Manage opening/closing checklists and strictly enforce food safety protocols.

Mentorship:

Train new hires and help your crew members grow into future leaders.

The Pay & Perks:

Base Pay:

$18.50 - $19.50 per hour.

Additional Comp:

+$1.00 per hour.

Tips:

Daily/Weekly tips shared among the team.

What we need from you:

Experience:

1+ year of Shift Manager experience in a fast-casual restaurant.

Certification:

Must

hold a valid NYC Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection.

Availability:

Flexible schedule (mornings, nights, weekends, holidays).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50+ lbs for the duration of a 10-hour shift.

Communication:

Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
