The Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort is seeking Restaurant Servers to join our amazing team and award winning resort.



To deliver Food and Beverage orders to guestrooms according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Provide guests with the highest food and beverage service standards, maintaining the "Count On Me" standards. In Room Dining is responsible for setting up, delivering, and retrieving room service trays. Provide all restaurant guests with an entertaining and enjoyable dining experience, through quality service in the most efficient manner, at all times. Requirements:

Restaurant Servers Job Requirements

  • Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
  • Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
  • Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction
  • Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Estimates food requirements.
  • Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
  • Keeps records and requisition for supplies/equipment as needed.
  • Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following all regulatory rules and procedures.
  • Performs any necessary pre-shift sidework.
  • Learns menu for area and ingredients.
  • Prepares room service area for each shift according to sidework schedules.
  • Practices clean as you go techniques of service, keeping station clean, neat, and supplied at all times.
  • Restores equipment and other assigned items prior to and at the end of the shift.
  • Follows pick up in hallway procedure.
  • Reviews the menu and becomes thoroughly familiar with all items and means of preparation being offered that day, including the ingredients, preparation, sauces, and garnishes as well as the wine list, what wines compliment which food items, and why.
  • Checks with manager for assigned station. Ensures station is properly set up and cleaned.
  • Greets and ensures all guests are provided with water and bread and butter after being seated.
  • Takes guests\' cocktail and food orders, answering all menu questions, making helpful suggestions, and citing a favorite item.
  • Presents properly written food check to back server for delivery to the table. Ensures all positions and table numbers are numbered properly.
  • Effectively communicates with other servers and cooks to ensure prompt delivery of food orders.
  • Anticipates guests\' needs.
