Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the standards of our establishment.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations during service.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience in a fine dining or upscale environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Experience in guest relations, hospitality, or food service is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
