We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. Your ability to create a positive atmosphere and deliver outstanding customer service will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or similar tools. Provide recommendations for food and drink pairings to enhance the dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for the next guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively. Foster positive guest relations by creating a welcoming environment and responding to feedback professionally.

Skills

Strong background in the food industry with experience in food service or hospitality preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to upsell menu items effectively, enhancing the overall dining experience. Proficient in using restaurant management software such as OpenTable is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tables efficiently. A proactive attitude towards helping guests and addressing their needs promptly.
