Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of japanese food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with menu recommendations.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience while maximizing sales. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables and guest requests. Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial. A background in the food industry, including knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and safety protocols. Pay: $21.46 - $25.84 per hour
