Uptown Blanco Restaurant is searching for servers with a welcoming smile and a positive customer service attitude to set the tone for our visitors' dining experience. In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Responsibilities:

• Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests
• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
• Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
• Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations

Qualifications:

• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
