Make up to $20 an hour or more! We will train you! Restaurant Server & Beverage Cart Attendant: Simsbury Farms Golf Course

• Front of the house employees are responsible for the overall experience of our guests. It is important that we work together to provide an exceptional experience during each and every guest interaction.
• All applicants train/work as a server to begin, before moving on to beverage cart training to ensure proper service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The list below is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned.

• Greet customers (public & golfers) and take their food/beverage order.
• Prepare food/beverage order request (if applicable) or submit order to kitchen for preperation
• Provide table service to guests
• Accepts payment and makes change using point of sale.
• Sells grab n\' go items using point of sale.
• Stock items, place items in appropriate storage areas, complete daily upkeep & side work tasks, clean front of house work areas using daily checklists
• Keep restaurant supervisors updated on service feedback
• provide excellent customer service

Beverage Cart Duties:

• Follow bev cart start of & end of day procedures
• clean and maintain beverage cart beginning, during, & end of shift
• stock & inventory grab n\' go items
• sign out inventory of alcohol & stock cart appropriately
• complete daily checklists
• serve golfers food/beverage
• provide excellent customer service

Skills :

• Basic math skills
• Good communication & customer service skills
• Knowledge of various alcoholic beverages is a plus
• Developed interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of a POS system is a plus
• Polite attitude
• Attentiveness and patience
• Reliable

Qualifications :

• Must be 18 or older
• Those that wish to move on to bev cart training must have a valid driver\'s license
• Must be TIPS Certified within 30 days of hire date
• Prior experience in food-serving establishment or bev cart is helpful
• Ability to learn a menu, answer questions provided by the guests, and provide recommendations
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Capable of working in the heat and sun for extended periods of time
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Dedicated to on-time arrival for shifts
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and carry cases of alcohol and food
• Available to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends
