Glowing inside and out, a corrugated crystal-like curtain reveals cascading chandeliers framing lush lounge-style seating clad in rich velvets and Jouffre silk. Here in the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s fashionable humming heart, craft cocktails in cut-crystal tumblers and inspired dining complement social exchanges and graceful gatherings.

Beguiling and provocative, mysterious and offbeat, The Bar plays the foil to the adjacent Grand Salon. The Bar takes its visual cues from great American long bars of decades past, glamorous ballrooms of French h\xc3\xb4tels particuliers and the royal stables at Versailles with distinctive barrel vaulting and natural-wood walls defining much of the space.

The Role

As the Restaurant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our large party reservations and small gatherings program at the Grand Salon, The Bar and the Petit Salon. These spaces offer a vividly artistic atmosphere with true Manhattan energy with infinite potential for intimate social moments.

Responsibilities

Client Walkthroughs: Meet with clients to understand their vision and needs. Provide expert advice to help clients make informed decisions.

Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various channels.

Proposal Development: Create customized proposals that align with the client\'s vision, budget, and needs. Ensure that all details are thoroughly and professionally outlined. Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and services to secure new business.

Servicing: Build relationships with clients, stay in contact throughout the planning process, overseeing logistics and details day-of the events, in collaboration with the F&B team for a seamless execution of events.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event sales in the luxury segment, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Possesses well developed presentation and writing skills.
  • Exhibits a positive and energized professional presence.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Tripleseat is not necessary but desirable.
  • Effective problem solver and self-starter who requires minimal supervision and is comfortable working in a fluid work environment.
  • Works collaboratively with others and builds trust with colleagues.
  • Bachelor\'s degree from four-year college is preferred but not required.
  • Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
