Zandra\xe2\x80\x99s Taqueria is looking for experienced individuals to join our high-energy, dynamic, dedicated, and professional team! We are looking for a true leader to be our Restaurant Lead Manager and grow with our company.

Summary of Position:

Managing the restaurant operation to ensure efficient and profitable operations. You are responsible for the business performance of your restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety. Reports to the Executive Team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant.

\xc2\xb7 Overseeing food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling and hygiene standards.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Completing and sharing daily log reports to the Executive Management Team.

\xc2\xb7 Handling discipline and termination of employees in coordination with Human Resource (HR) Director.

\xc2\xb7 Managing your staff and providing them with feedback.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company\'s uniform standards, policies and procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Understanding and implementing all company policies, procedures and standards.

\xc2\xb7 Greeting customers and advising on menu and beverage choices.

\xc2\xb7 Running the Front of the House and Back of the House.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.

\xc2\xb7 Training and motivating Front of the House, Back of the House and Managers.

\xc2\xb7 Creating and managing the staff schedule each week.

\xc2\xb7 Accomplishing restaurant Human Resource (HR) objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training in coordination with HR Director.

\xc2\xb7 Managing inventory and purchasing for the restaurant.

\xc2\xb7 Stepping in the necessary roles when employees are absent.

\xc2\xb7 Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.

\xc2\xb7 Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability.

\xc2\xb7 Attracting patrons by implementing marketing programs with the local jurisdictions.

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining professional and technical knowledge with Executive Management Team by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the opening and closing check out processes.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring that all restaurant equipment is maintained and properly working.

\xc2\xb7 Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work at both the Manassas and Haymarket locations depending on restaurant schedule.

\xc2\xb7 Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

\xc2\xb7 Must be technically savvy with a minimum of 2 years of experience with restaurant POS systems, computers, and online delivery and carry out apps.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 3 years of full-service restaurant experience.

\xc2\xb7 Must be at least 21 years of age.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to think quickly on your feet and be a problem solver.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 25 lbs. without assistance and 50 lbs. with assistance.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.

\xc2\xb7 Work in a hot and noisy environment.

\xc2\xb7 Must have high integrity and solid work ethic.

\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Expected to work long hours during peak periods, evenings, and weekends.

\xc2\xb7 Having or obtaining a food handler\xe2\x80\x99s and/or alcohol certification may be required.

\xc2\xb7 Having reliable transportation to and from work.

\xc2\xb7 Must have Front of the House experience

\xc2\xb7 Must have Back of House experience.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with food handling, safety and other restaurant guidelines.
