ROLE OVERVIEW

As a

Key Holder / Lead Server

, you'll wear multiple hats: lead by example in delivering exceptional service, oversee shift operations, and support staff to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests and team members alike. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, looking to grow in restaurant management.

Key Responsibilities

Open or close the restaurant independently Lead and support front-of-house team during service Handle shift-level decision-making, including covering call-outs and managing flow Resolve guest issues with professionalism and care Perform cash handling, including end-of-shift drawer balancing Monitor cleanliness, safety, and maintenance issues Help train new staff and support ongoing team development Ensure smooth handoffs between shifts and communicate effectively with management

What We're Looking For

1+ year of restaurant experience (front-of-house or supervisory preferred) Strong communication and team leadership skills Friendly, guest-first attitude with attention to detail Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Comfortable with basic reporting and POS systems (experience with OpenTable or PeachWorks a plus) ServSafe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) High school diploma or equivalent required
