What you'll do

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly smile, setting the tone for their dining experience. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow and satisfaction. Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu offerings and making reservations as needed. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons. Uphold high standards of customer service by demonstrating excellent communication skills at all times.

Basic qualifications

Previous host/host or restaurant experience preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for phone etiquette.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in food service or hospitality settings is highly desirable. Background in hotel guest services can enhance your candidacy. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
