Esquina Latina Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a friendly, professional, and energetic

Hostess

to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate creates a warm welcome, manages guest flow efficiently, and helps maintain the vibrant atmosphere of our restaurant and lounge.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Coordinate with servers, management, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries Monitor guest flow during peak hours and assist in crowd control Assist with special events, private parties, and lounge seating as needed Uphold Esquina Latina's standards for hospitality, appearance, and service
Qualifications

Previous hostess or customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
