Duties

Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel instantly at home Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating efficiency Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements

Prior experience as a host or host in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and guest management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Knowledge of restaurant operations, including guest services, serving protocols, and hospitality standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required
