Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements Escort guests to their tables, offering menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant's offerings Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating flow and accommodate special requests Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or restaurant services Assist in maintaining a clean and organized host stand and waiting area, creating an inviting environment for all guests Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, turning any issues into positive experiences

Skills

Previous host/host experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Experience in hotel or guest services enhances ability to manage diverse guest needs Knowledge of serving procedures and hospitality standards to support overall guest experience Ability to handle phone
