Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude as they arrive, making them feel valued and appreciated Manage reservations and walk-in guest flow efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Provide accurate wait times and answer guest inquiries with professionalism and clarity Assist with guest needs throughout their visit, including handling special requests and resolving concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to ensure a welcoming environment Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver smooth service operations

Requirements

Prior experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests Knowledge of restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle reservations, inquiries, and feedback effectively Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
