Duties

Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic demeanor to set a positive tone for their visit Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and waiting area Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously, demonstrating excellent guest relations and service skills Ability to earn tips each shift

Experience

Previous host/host experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred Strong background in food service or hospitality roles that emphasize customer service excellence Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques Experience working in hotel or guest services environments is a plus Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and hospitality standards is beneficial

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
