Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable from the moment they walk in Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure timely seating and smooth service transitions Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with seating arrangements, special requests, or accommodations Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and reservations Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure guest areas are welcoming and presentable Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Experience

Previous host/host experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hotel or guest services enhances ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively Knowledge of food service operations and hospitality standards is beneficial Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential for success in this role
