We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and service efficiency.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively to minimize wait times.
Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate with guests regarding their expected wait times.
Assist in the training of new staff members on guest relations protocols.
Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders efficiently.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in the host/host area at all times.
Skills
Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong customer service orientation with a focus on enhancing guest relations.
A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
