Duties



Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, organizing supplies, and handling food items following safety standards. Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service periods, ensuring timely turnaround of clean items. Uphold cleanliness standards in the dishwashing area through regular cleaning routines and waste disposal.

Qualifications



Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key! Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing tables or assisting in food prep is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm. Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling and cleaning procedures. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in banquet, catering, or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
