Overview:

Worlds of Fun is hiring fulltime, year round Culinary Leaders in Kansas City, MO. These positions come with a generous benefit package, paid training and the opportunity to learn and grow with a great organization.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the culinary vision for the park, as outlined by the Executive Chef, is maintained on a daily basis
• Oversee multiple food stands in the park and enforce the standards outlined by the park\xe2\x80\x99s Executive Chef for overall food presentation and execution.
• Train and oversee daily tasks of staff using various methods including email, surveys, face-to-face conversations will assist in gathering feedback from park guests on food quality and presentation.
• Assist in executing food operations for special events such as \xe2\x80\x9cpop up\xe2\x80\x9d food venues in the park, food truck, VIP Meals, media days, receptions, etc.
• Responsible for daily food production and presentation in a manner that drives sales
• Ensure all health code and food safety standards are met.
• Complete and submit all inventory, budget, and administrative paperwork.

• Minimum: 18 years old
• Minimum 3 years food experience
• Open availability to fill a rotating 40 hour schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pass a servsafe certification class & servesafe alcohol certification class.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy.
• Strong, instinctive work ethic.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
