Overview:

The

Response Team Supervisors

primary duty is to assist the Senior Shift Supervisor (LT) to ensure that contractual obligations are met. The RT Supervisor is responsible for exercising leadership, maintaining high morale, and directing & inspecting the performance of all security personnel assigned to the shift. The RT Supervisor is directly accountable to the Senior Shift Supervisors (LT's). The RT Supervisor is a member of a cohesive team assigned to either the Mobile Response Team or the Quick Reaction Force team, specially trained in special tactics, response, planning, and the use of specialized equipment, firearms, and other weapons. RT Supervisors provide an immediate mobile response to resolve a variety of critical security incidents effectively and safely including active shooter, terrorist aggression, and workplace violence. The RT Supervisor is armed with a side arm, M4, or other weapons as required. The hourly compensation for this position is $24.80.
Responsibilities:
Conduct all duties outlined by the MRT Lieutenant, Site Manager or Project Manager. Participate in physically demanding endurance and team training scenarios and exercises. Continuously maintain weapons qualifications with all assigned and team issued weapons systems. Maintain physical standards to meet contract requirements. Maintain all related technical certifications required by Chenega and the client. Position requires complete shift flexibility and open availability to meet the operational requirements of the RT. Be subject to 24/7 recall for emergency response. As a critical position will be required to report and remain available for emergency duty in expectation of a natural disaster, inclement weather, critical missions or declared emergency. Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner. Will arrive at work in proper uniform and carrying needed, issued equipment. Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned. Will be required to exercise force up to and including deadly force. Will participate in Guard Mount, receive assigned post, and copy any extra instructions. Will carry out general and special orders for post-assigned. Will communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders. Required to interact and V.I. P's and escort as required with public and government personnel. Will provide access control, vehicle inspections, personnel inspections, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions. Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspections. Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Preferred 1 year military or law enforcement experience Supervisory experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization. Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Georgia state driver's license. Be able to meet any Federal, State, or Municipal requirements to work as a Security Guard. Must be able to meet drug testing and alcohol - free workforce requirements to include random drug and/or alcohol testing. Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material. Have no criminal record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture. Have no felony convictions and no convictions that reflect on the individual's reliability including those crimes classified under the Lautenburg Act. Must be able to maintain and qualify periodically on a course of fire with handgun, rifle, or other special weapons. Successfully completed all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the site. Must possess state issued firearm license within 180 days of employment. Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory -2 (MMPI-2) and Shipley Institute of Living Scale psychological examinations. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. Must successfully complete the Initial/annual Physical Efficiency Battery (PEB) which consists of the following: Flexibility test, Bench press and a timed 1.5-mile run.
