We are seeking an experienced Child Respite Provider to support a young boy with special needs at his home or in the community. This boy has a diagnosis of autism and is nonverbal. The ideal candidate will have high energy, confidence, be kind, reliable, and trustworthy. If you are ready to help a wonderful family, please apply today!



This amazing boy enjoys going to their cabin up north, 4-wheeling, music, and learning numbers/letters. He has an adaptive bike and loves to swim.

Location:

Green Bay, WI

Pay:

$20 per hour

Hours per week:

10 hours per month (prefer Friday or Saturday nights).

Tasks:

Constant supervision Companionship Provide motivation for the boy to be active Redirect behaviors if needed Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, meal prep, medications, errands and outings

Skills:

Compassionate and patient demeanor Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, & auto insurance Authorized to work in the United States Have 1st Aid and CPR Certifications Experience working with NON-VERBAL children with autism and behaviors. Patient, trustworthy, and reliable. Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN's role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker
