Job Summary and Qualifications

Administers respiratory care in the Intensive Care Units and General Medical/Surgical areas. Consults with physicians concerning patient\'s plan of care. Participates in the training and orientation of new employees and instruction of Respiratory Care students. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvements of processes and services on an on-going basis. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts
• Current Basic Life Support(BLS)verification course through American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR)
• Current registration through the National Board for Respiratory Care within 6 months of hire
