Education QualificationsDiploma or an Associate\'s degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program is required. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program is preferred. Experience QualificationsN/A Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required. Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
