PromptCare is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our RT Team. This is a full-time position, 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri with on-call duties. This position will cover Central Massachusetts, Parts of New Hampshire & Rhode Island.

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist provides effective Respiratory Therapist services and set-up of related products for patients in the home setting, including therapeutics, diagnostics, high tech ventilation, oxygen and other miscellaneous respiratory equipment. Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory School and must have CRTT or RRT licensure in the states inquiring of employment and in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must be willing to get cross-licensed in other states at the company\'s expense.
  • Must have a valid driver\'s license and automobile insurance in good standing.
  • At least 2 years\' experience as a working Respiratory Therapist is preferred. Experience in the home setting is highly desirable.
  • Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
  • Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information and takes appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Ability to initiate and develop good working relationships with patients, family members and referral sources is essential.
  • Ensures that the team plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes ahead of time).
  • Assists with the proper scheduling of set ups and follow up visits according to company policies and standards.
  • Works closely with the RT Clinical Liaisons in coordinating patient discharges.
  • Ability to properly triage problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies.
  • Ensures that the team follows proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, takes appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of PromptCare\'s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistently.
  • Ensures that the team maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times Fosters a culture wherein the team conducts activities with a mindset of delivering white glove service to the patients and family members.
  • Submits expense reports for travel at least once monthly and in a timely manner.
  • On-call responsibilities as needed.
Physical Demands

This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all day. Lift and/or move 30 pounds or more.
