We're searching for a Respiratory Care Practitioner, someone who's ready to be part of the best ranked children's hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will administer a variety of respiratory care procedures in a developmentally age-appropriate manner for patients ranging from neonates to adults.

Job Duties & Responsibilities


Performs patient care and related activities according to policy and/or guidelines. In compliance with MD order to provide optimal patient outcome. Perform patient care assessments. Performs medication delivery. Performs airway clearance techniques. Provides ventilatory support Documents patient related activities according to policy/guidelines in a legible manner. Facilitates good communication with Physician, Nursing, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate optimal patient care. Provides instruction to patients and families. Performs other essential functions.


Skills & Requirements


Required H.S. Diploma or equivalent Required current enrollment in an accredited respiratory care program OR have a temporary license to practice respiratory care * Required BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association
