In our Community Based Services Program, we're currently seeking a Resource Specialist.


Responsibilities:




As a Resource Specialist, you will -

Work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team and Marketing to actively recruit independent contractors to provide respite and home care provider services. Conduct background screening in accordance with Agency policies and DHHS regulations. Conduct a home inspection to ensure that homes meets DHHS regulations. Facilitate the execution of contracts. Successfully onboard a minimum of 5 new contractors per month. Provide and coordinate on-boarding training to all respite and home care providers. Ensure compliance with training outlined in the contract. Work in partnership with the community living leadership team to match individuals with providers. Develop respite alternatives for individuals served located in the community they reside. Work with community living staff to develop emergency placements in response to crisis. Work flexible hours and be available outside of regular business hours to respond to crisis. Maintain an active directory of contracted respite and home care providers. Maintain regular contact with respite providers and track utilization. Conduct ongoing home visits, as needed. Maintain required documentation as outlined by department policy and supervisor. Attend department and agency meetings.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Human Services, or related field Experience in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and supervision Excellent oral and written communication skills Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Schedule:

This is a full-time, salaried position

Compensation

: $60,000 annually
