Schedule:

Evening shift:

2:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Welcome residents home from school, work, or day support and assist with transitioning into their evening routines. Support residents with personal hygiene, changing clothes, meal preparation, and dinner routines. Administer medications based on training and company procedures. Provide companionship, emotional support, and positive social interaction. Engage residents in evening activities such as games, outdoor time, community outings, or leisure interests. Follow each resident's individual support plan to ensure their needs and goals are met. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment throughout the home. Complete documentation including progress notes, behavior tracking, medication logs, and incident reports. Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and preparing items for the next day. Help residents complete nightly routines and prepare for bedtime. Communicate important updates to the incoming overnight staff to ensure smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Compassionate, patient, and respectful of residents' privacy and dignity. Ability to lift or move residents when needed (training provided). Willingness to work flexible days, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
