Role Description

This is a part-time, 1099-based role working in the greater Indianapolis area. Your day-to-day will include painting at various location in the area. This may include prep work, drywall repair, priming, and painting walls, ceiling, trim, and exteriors. We're looking for an experienced painter with at least 5 years of full-time painting experience.

This is a part-time role that may eventually lead to full-time for the right person. Our ideal candidate is eager to grow with the company, is responsive and professional when interfacing with clients / homeowners, and is reliable without having to be micro-managed.

Must have reliable transportation to get to job sites. We will provide all tools and equipment needed, though you may use your own tools if you prefer.

Job hours are generally between 8am - 5pm but can be somewhat flexible. Some evening and weekend work might be required from time to time.

Qualifications

Must be physically able to perform the job responsibilities, including the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, climb a ladder, etc. Must be able to provide your own transportation to and from various job sites in the Indy area. 5+ years of residential painting experience Proficiency with painting tools and materials Professionalism and the ability to work with a wide range of people Project management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
