Home Manager
to oversee daily operations at one of our group homes.
This role is perfect for someone who is organized, compassionate, and able to lead a team while ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care.
Position: Home Manager
Schedule:
Full-Time (primarily afternoon/evening hours; flexible as needed)
On-Call:
Must be available
at least 2 weeks each month
for call-outs, emergencies, and support needs.
Key Responsibilities: Home Operations
Oversee daily functioning of the group home to ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
Ensure all household tasks are completed (cleaning, laundry, meal prep, organization).
Monitor home compliance with all licensing and agency policies.
Staff Leadership
Supervise, support, and guide Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and training new staff.
Perform on-call duties for
a minimum of 2 weeks each month
, handling call-outs or urgent issues.
Resident Support
Support residents with daily living skills, personal care, and evening routines.
Ensure residents' needs are met according to their individualized support plans.
Oversee medication administration and ensure documentation is accurate.
Documentation & Communication
Complete required documentation including incident reports, daily notes, and staff logs.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, healthcare professionals, families, and staff.
Ensure smooth shift transitions by relaying important updates.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in human services is a plus.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
Supervisory or lead staff experience is highly desirable.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must be dependable, organized, and comfortable managing a team.
Ability to lift/move residents if needed (training provided).
Valid driver's license preferred.
