Duties

Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens efficiently. Maintain sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to ensure health and safety compliance. Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces spotless and well-maintained. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients about their cleaning preferences and needs. Manage residential cleaning schedules effectively while ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks. Use janitorial and custodial equipment properly to maximize efficiency and safety during cleaning procedures. Assist with light cooking or meal prep if required by clients, demonstrating versatility in household chores. Uphold safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is highly desirable; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and janitorial practices will be advantageous. Hands-on experience with floor care--including carpet cleaning--and sanitation procedures enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service. Strong customer service skills are essential for building trust and ensuring client satisfaction. Experience with laundry operations and housekeeper management responsibilities is beneficial but not mandatory. Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment operation, and safety guidelines is preferred.
