Position Summary:
Dana Village is a supportive housing community in Blair, Nebraska. The Residential Coordinator plays a key role in building a safe, stable, and empowering environment for residents. This live-in position is ideal for individuals passionate about mentorship and community building. The individual provides after-hours and weekend support and helps uphold community standards. Free housing at Dana Village is provided as a benefit of this position. Please note, current Dana Village residents cannot be considered for this role.
Job Duties:
Foster a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive living environment for all residents.
Serve as a positive role model and mentor to residents, offering guidance and support regarding residential maintenance standards and safety expectations to support a positive community culture.
Monitor and uphold community standards and safety protocols, including responding to emergencies and reporting incidents.
Provide support and assistance with community safety monitoring in the evenings and on weekends.
Maintain open lines of communication regarding community safety and time-sensitive matters with residents, program staff, and leadership.
Perform other job-related duties as needed.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college or experience in social work, education, or youth development is preferred.
Experience working with youth or young adults in a mentorship or residential capacity.
Commitment to trauma-informed care, equity, and empowerment.
Demonstrated understanding of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
Ability to live onsite in a designated residential unit at Dana Village.
Company-issued cell phone and/or laptop.
Ability to respond to time-sensitive matters in the evenings and on weekends
