Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our residential care community. In this vital role, you will coordinate services for residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life. Responsibilities



Oversee and coordinate daily activities within the residential facility, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality resident care Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Administer medications following prescribed protocols and maintain accurate medication records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Monitor residents' vital signs and health status regularly, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly Support residents with mental health and requirements through personalized engagement and behavior management strategies Lead meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met in accordance with dietary guidelines Maintain cleanliness of the facility by assisting with light cleaning duties and ensuring a safe environment for all residents Document incidents, resident progress, and care activities thoroughly to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices Facilitate transportation for residents when needed, including driving to appointments or community outings

Qualifications



Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of developmental disabilities and behavior management techniques Ability to assist with ADLs and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts safely Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in medication administration or long-term care are advantageous Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and team members Ability to perform vital signs monitoring and recognize signs of health deterioration Valid driver's license for transportation duties if required by the role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
