ABOUT POSITION

We are currently searching for skilled trim carpenters and construction laborers to work on high-end custom homes in Northwest Arkansas. The ideal applicant must be skilled and have experience with residential construction. The applicant must be willing to do all aspects of construction. This is a full-time position with benefits [paid time off, holiday pay, medical insurance (health/vision/dental), and retirement contributions]. Company provides all tools. This is an opportunity to learn the trade or apply your skills within the custom home market.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Construct or repair building frameworks and structures--such as stairways, door frames, partitions, and rafters Study and follow blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated Frame buildings, walls, footings, columns, shelves, and stairs Install custom millwork (base, case, crown) Mark, cut, and shape materials to prescribed measurements Fabricate custom cabinets and built-ins Install cabinets and countertops and other journeyman carpentry skills as required Install drywall, wood, paneling, siding, and other raw or prefabricated materials Properly flash and install windows and doors Install glass and mirrors Fit, install, and maintain finished hardware such as door handles, locks, and kick plates

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High school or equivalent

SALARY

: $17.50 to $27.50 /hour (determined by skill level)
